Are your prices on the website all inclusive?
Yes absolutely! To make life easier all the prices you see on the website are the fully inclusive final price that you will pay for the tyre, fitting, valve, balance, disposal and VAT. There are no nasty hidden surprises with any our prices…we promise!

What is the difference between budget, Mid-range and Premium Tyres?
In the world of tyres it is accurate to say you do get what you pay for. With the premium brands you are not just paying for name you are also investing in the millions of pounds worth of research and development these brands undertake. As a result of this you do get a better performing, more advanced and longer lasting tyre.
However it is worth mentioning mid range tyres which are developed by the leading manufacturers using the same technology but with brand names you may not be so familiar with. How do I know my tyres are illegal and need changed?
To make things easier most tyres these days have tread bar indicators in between the treads at 1.6mm at intervals around the tyre. If you can see that these little bars are level with the tread then your tyres are illegal and need changed.
Why should I check my tyre pressures?
Let’s face it checking your tyre pressures it not particularly exciting and we are sure there are lots of things you would be rather doing but it’s worth taking some time now and then to check them out.
Firstly under inflated tyres will hit you in the wallet as they will cause the tyre to wear more quickly and I am sure we would all like to squeeze as much as we can out of our tyres before having to buy new ones.
Secondly under inflated tyres will cause the vehicle to be unstable and therefore not as safe as they should be. Officially you should check your tyres once every two weeks and only when cold as the pressure increases once the tyre warms up. Check your vehicle manual for the correct pressures or sometimes they can be found inside the fuel cap cover.
How can you price your tyres so cheaply?
At MacSams tyres we keep costs low and ship our tyres to our fitting centres only when our customers require them which mean we can make massive savings on storage. We are not greedy so we would much rather offer our customers an excellent deal and pass on the cost savings to them rather than keep it ourselves.
Do you offer a mail order service?
Currently we do not offer a mail order only service as we believe our fully fitted service is far more convenient for customers and ensures we can offer our tyres at the best price and protect against credit card fraud at the same time.
Where do I have my tyres fitted?
Your tyres will be fitted at one of our pre vetted fitting centres. The centres do not keep the tyres on the shelf and we arrange for them to be delivered in time for your booking so they are ready and waiting for you.
Where is my closest fitting depot?
Our search facility will ask you for your work or home postcode and will then show you your closest fitting centre. In the event this location is not suitable you can view a list of others locations and arrange to have your tyres fitted there.
We constantly monitor the service delivered by our fitting partners so we can ensure a quality service for our customers. Once you have had your appointment you will be contacted to give us feedback on the overall service. This feedback is entered into our system so that you can see how many customers have used the particular depot and what feedback score they have achieved.
What happens when I arrive at the fitting centre?
Your tyres will be ready waiting for you at the fitting depot and all you have to do is present your booking confirmation with your order number or if you don’t have the printer just quote your order number and your tyres will be fitted for you.
Do I get a receipt once my tyres have been fitted?
You will not receive a receipt from the garage as the email receipt you receive from us is proof of purchase and will be all you need to refer to the order in the future.
How quickly can you fit my tyres?
It does depend when you contact us and where you are based. During the order process our system will give you a selection of fitting dates based on the information provided. However if you need your tyres quicker than the dates available online just give our team a call on 0800 234 3507 and we normally arrange fitting for the next day.
Will I get sent lots of spam emails?
No, we do not give your details to any third parties. We may from time to time send you promotional information from the MacSams Group only.
I found a cheaper price for my tyres will you try and beat it?
In the event you find a cheaper price for you tyres via another retailer we would be delighted to try and beat your price. Just give us a call our drop us an email and we will see what we can do.
